I'm Joe Hughes and I'd like to introduce you to the background, philosophy and capabilities of Joseph Hughes Construction. We're a licensed General Contractor doing business in Oregon, Washington and Idaho in both Design-Build, negotiated and hard-bid commercial and multi-family construction.

Joseph Hughes Construction was originally formed in 1981 to concentrate on the tenant improvement market. We have proudly grown from those humble beginnings to a $28 million dollar corporation with 40 employees. We have been providing clients with high quality construction services for 28 years and have completed hundreds of projects of various types - office, industrial, retail and most recently, multi-family.

We have received numerous awards from our peers for our quality work. In 1994 the company branched out into new commercial construction and in 1997 was rated as Oregon's 62nd fastest growing private company. Not to slow down there, Joseph Hughes Construction has ranked in The Business Journal's top 100 Fastest Growing Private Companies five times in the last eight years. Having just entered the multi-family market in the spring of 2003, in March 2005 we were ranked the 12th largest multi-family homebuilder in the area. We received Honorable Mention for five years straight in The Daily Journal of Commerce's prestigious "Profiles of Excellence" competition. We've also ranked extremely well in numerous Top Commercial Contractors, Top Commercial Renovation Firms and Top General Contractors competitions, as well as having received appreciation awards from many associations and customers.

With extensive experience in new construction, tenant improvement and remodel work, we have a proven record of consistent long-term performance. Over the past six years we have added Pre-Construction and Design-Build to our list of services and would be happy to provide you with any sort of Pre-Construction packages you would like, such as preliminary design and pricing. In addition to the regular bid process we use the Design-Build project delivery system to optimize everything for the owner, from concept to completion. We have found that by offering such things as site surveys, feasibility studies, design and permitting, our clients save time and money.
